Bogview Enchantments

This charming property is set into a south facing hill, overlooking a cranberry bog. The lower flats of the property feature an existing mature garden, tidy and reminiscent of Japanese and French fusion. However, the north side of this passive house set in the hill was left fairly natural, fading into the piney woodline. The deep shade over much of the area, plus the steep hill leading up to it, left the client unsure about carrying more turf around the property. Instead they sought a naturalized approach, blending native plantings into the formal gardens, with pollinators and birds in mind.
